Dine Arounds at the 2018 MPSA Conference

What is a Dine Around?

Dine Arounds are part of the conference program that allows conference colleagues to gather for dinner to discuss professional topics in a small, intimate dining setting. The dinners can range in size from groups of 6-20. There is a dine around coordinator who hosts a particular topic of interest at a pre-determined local restaurant.

Fogo de Chão is an upscale Brazilian chain for all-you-can-eat meat carved tableside plus an extensive salad bar. The restaurant is located in the River North area. Guests are welcomed by a striking blue tower housing an authentic fogo de chão, the type of ground fire originally used for cooking meat in Southern Brazil.

Rivers Restaurant provides an ideal mixture of style, service, and incredible food whether you are dining outdoors along the river or observing the view from our dining room and bar. Our chef-driven menu has something for everyone with broad selections of fresh fish, seafood and steaks. Lighter fare is also available in our bar.

New to the MPSA dine around line-up of restaurants, Roanoke’s custom MPSA menu includes an appetizer, an entrée, and dessert. There is no minimum group size required for this special price. Luxurious finishes, copper accents, and warm lighting were inspired by the fire of the rotisserie & brick oven at the display kitchen. Masculine lines are tailored to contrast with subtle historical references, some original to the 1913 building, for visual interest. Roanoke offers various seating options for every occasion. Sit at the counter along the display kitchen for an interesting culinary experience, cozy up to the warm, inviting bar, and finally have a seat near the fireplace for more intimate dining.
