Conference Registration Fee Waiver Scholarship. Fee waivers are provided to individuals on the program who are either 1) scholars studying at an institution in the developing world, or 2) not political scientists and have not attended the conference in the past. This second category includes people from other disciplines (e.g., history or economics) or people who are practitioners (e.g., judges and reporters). Fee waivers are provided on a first-come basis and must be accompanied by a completed registration form with your payment. If you receive a scholarship, your payment will be refunded. The application deadline for the Fee Waiver Scholarship was December 15. We are no longer accepting applications for Fee Waiver Scholarships for the 2010 Conference.
Harrell Rodgers Graduate Student Travel Scholarship. This scholarship, initiatied by the Policy Studies Organization, provides $500 in travel assistance for one graduate student to attend the MPSA Annual National Conference. The scholarship is named in honor of Harrell Rogers, who has served MPSA for many years. The application deadline December 15.
MPSA Childcare Scholarship. Assistance to help defray half the cost up to $150 of childcare during the MPSA Annual National Conference is offered to graduate students and junior faculty who are current members of MPSA and who are staying at the Palmer House Hotel. The application deadline is March 13.
