Support the advancement of research in all areas of political science through membership in the Midwest Political Science Association. MPSA also supports research through awards and scholarships, including the Emerging Scholar Award, the Sophonisba Breckinridge Award for the best paper on the topic of women and politics, and the Patrick J. Fett Award for best paper on a topic investigating race or ethnicity and politics.
