MPSA Mentoring Programs
MPSA Academic Year Mentoring
MPSA staff will match one mentee with each mentor based on the information provided by both parties. In late-March 2017, both parties will receive a notification containing name(s), contact information, and brief biographical sketches. Mentees will be asked to contact mentors within one week to establish contact. If selected for this program, mentees will work remotely (phone calls or via Skype/Google Hangouts, etc.) with faculty in a structured format over the 2017-2018 academic year. Total commitment is approximately 10 total hours. Please note that conference participation is not required to participate in the Academic Year Mentoring Program.
MPSA staff will review mentee candidate applications and place with appropriate mentors as available. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Looking for a mentor? The application period closed March 22, 2017. Please watch for additional information on 2018-2019 in late 2017.
