All Panels/Paper Sessions, Roundtables, Lightning Talks and Working Groups will Feature a Hybrid Format (for In-Person or Virtual Participation). Undergraduate Poster Sessions will be In Person Only.

Important dates and deadlines for the 2027 MPSA Annual Conference
| October 13, 2026 | Deadline for paper, roundtable, complete panel, and working group proposals. |
| Mid-November 2026 | MPSA begins to send acceptance emails. |
| November 23, 2026 | Deadline for special scheduling requests. |
| December 1, 2026 | Deadline for subfield and undergraduate section proposals. |
| January 2027 | Preliminary program available on MPSA website. |
| January 12, 2027 | Deadline to submit an application for a conference registration fee waiver. |
| TBA | Deadline to propose meetings, receptions and networking events for the conference. |
| TBA | Deadline to apply for a Graduate Student Travel Scholarship. |
| TBA | Early registration deadline. |
| TBA | MPSA room block cutoff date for discounted hotel accommodations at the Chicago Hilton. |
| TBA | MPSA room block cutoff date for discounted hotel accommodations at the Palmer House Hilton |

| March 18, 2027 | Recommended: Upload your paper to the online conference program by March 18 to give discussant(s) time to review your research in advance of the conference. |

| July 1, 2027 | Deadline for Section Heads, Chairs and Discussants to nominate conference papers for awards for research presented in 2027. |
