Data Integrity, Access and Research Transparency
Working together, researchers, journal editors, publishers, and professional associations have made important progress on matters of data sharing and research transparency. Our hope is that these continuing conversations will increase the legitimacy, credibility, and openness of intellectually diverse research communities.
The Midwest Political Science Association is dedicated to data integrity, access and transparency by:
- Ensuring that others can build off research by providing access to the data that was used;
- Providing access to the coding used for the data analysis; and
- Requiring that a third-party institute verifies the findings and tables of articles published in the American Journal of Political Science.
